Upper and Lower Eye-Lid Treatments

The eyes can be one of the first areas in the face that show signs of aging. Full eye rejuvenation can be achieved non-surgically. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Olga Zilberstein to see what treatment options work for you.

There are seven common eye concerns that we see in our practice. These include crow’s feet, crepey skin around the eyes, dark circles, hollow under-eyes, under-eye bags, eye rolls, and droopy upper eyelids.

What are crows feet?

One of the most common concerns we see in our office is the formation of crow’s feet. Crow’s feet are wrinkles that form at the side of the eyes, stretching out towards the temples. We treat crow’s feet with neuromodulators (Botox, Jeuveau, Dysport, or Daxxify). Neuromodulators are made up of botulinum toxin and this is supposed to relax to muscle and reduce muscle activity. When we reduce muscle activity, we stop the formation of these wrinkles. This treatment takes up to 14 days to fully “kick” in and on average lasts 3-4 months. We have crows feet Botox in Brooklyn, NY, and Long Island, NY.

How do you treat crepey skin around the eyes?

Crepey skin around the eyes appears to be wrinkly and thin. We can non-surgically treat it with:

  • Medical Grade Skincare: Our retinol-based eye creams contain hyaluronic acid and peptides that work together to help stimulate collagen production and improve skin tone and texture.
  • Radio-Frequency (RF) Micro-Needling: This treatment uses a combination of micro-needling with RF energy to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin around the eyes. We like to combine this treatment with Platelet-Rich-Fibrin (PRF) or Exosomes to enhance the results.
  • Micro-Needling: This treatment uses tiny little needles that go deep into the dermis to stimulate collagen production and tighten the eye area. We micro-needle Platelet-Rich-Fibrin (PRF), Exosomes, and other serums into the skin to enhance the results.
  • Skinvive: Skinvive is the first FDA-approved mesotherapy. It is a pure hyaluronic acid and we inject it into the skin via micro-droplets. Skinvive hydrates keeping it looking fresh and plump. We have Skinvive in Brooklyn, NY, and Long Island, NY!
  • Threads: We use PDO or PCL threads to create a scaffold under the skin that stimulates collagen production and improves the appearance of crepey, wrinkly skin.
  • Tixel: The Tixel is a needleless treatment that uses heat therapy to stimulate collagen production, tighten the skin, and reduce the appearance of wrinkly, crepey skin.
How do you treat dark under-eye circles?

Dark under-eye circles happen due to age, genetics, allergies, and fatigue. We offer dark circle treatments in Brooklyn, NY, and Long Island, NY! We can brighten the under-eyes and improve the appearance of dark circles with these treatments:

  • Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF): PRF harnesses your body’s natural growth factors. We draw your blood and spin it in a centrifuge. We inject your plasma directly under the eyes to stimulate collagen production and reduce the appearance of dark circles.
  • Medical Grade Skin Care: Our brand of retinol-based eye cream contains hyaluronic acid and peptides that work together to stimulate collagen production and brighten the under-eyes.
  • Tear-Trough Fillers: We inject hyaluronic acid filler under the eyes and this immediately lightens dark circles.
  • Mesotherapy: Mesotherapy is a solution that delivers hyaluronic acid, vitamins, and peptides into the skin via micro-droplets. This treatment reduces the appearance of dark under-eyes!
  • Skinvive: Skinvive is a new treatment created by Allergan. It delivers hydration under the eye eyes and helps even out dark circles.

Hollow Under-Eyes:

Upper-Eyelid Blepharoplasty: Improve droopy and wrinkly upper eyelids caused by loss of collagen along with gravity. The procedure opens up the eye and makes you look younger and less tired.

  • Botox strategically injected to the upper face elevates the eyebrows.
  • Plasma pen tightens the upper eyelid skin and reduces the hooded eye appearance.
  • Dermal fillers are injected into the temple and eyebrow area, causing slight elevation and opening up the eyelids.
  • Radiofrequency collagen stimulation in the area of upper and lower eyelids creates tightening and a slight lift.
  • The Tixel helps tighten and lift the upper eyelids.

Lower-Eyelid Blepharoplasty: Improve hollow and dark circles under the eyes caused by the fat pads dropping down. It makes you look instantly refreshed and less tired.

  • Dermal fillers are injected into the lower eyelid area to camouflage under-eye bags and smooth the appearance under the eyes.
  • PDO threads improve crepey, wrinkly skin.
  • Plasma pen tightens the crepey skin of the upper and lower eyelid.
  • Mesotherapy delivers vitamins, peptides, and hyaluronic acid directly into the skin by tiny injections and improves wrinkly skin.
  • PRP/PRF can be injected to improve wrinkly skin.
  • Microneedling with pep-factor or PRF stimulates collagen.
  • The Tixel helps improve under-eye wrinkles, crow’s feet, and overall crepey skin around the eyes.
